Jo Rasp (Vocalist/Song writer) and AaGee (Producer/Song writer) have come together to create and establish the “Musonics.” This multi-talented duo has artistically produced a diverse sound that is influenced by the genres of R&B, Rock, Soul, and Reggae; generating a unique sound called “Digi-Pop”–a hybrid form of soul and alternative rock with prominent electronic tones. The Musonics’ first single, “Bleeding Heart” will precede the release of their Spring 2009 EP album, “To the Moon and Beyond.” Jo Rasp has captivated audiences world-wide through his acclaimed role as the “Engineer” in the Broadway musical “Miss Saigon” (Canada and Germany Cast, 1999-2005). He has mastered his versatile vocal talent and songwriting abilities through years of live performances and collaborations with prominent artists, such as: Shawn Desman, Jenna G, Jewels Jones, Glenn Lewis, Dino, Ike Lee, Perry Alexander, Orin Isaacs, Kuya (SOCAN Urban Music Recording Group), Freedom, Kev Choice, Midi Mafia, G-Unit, The Dream Warriors, Trawick Entertainment, Beat Factory, and Muchmusic’s Rush. AaGee is an Oakland, California native and natural talent who began producing music with guitars, pianos, and drums at the age of sixteen. AaGee specializes in audio engineering through Pro Midi interface, crafting the eclectic sounds of the “Musonics.” One of AaGee’s largest accomplishments was the movie scoring of Ed Laborde Jr’s breakthrough film, “Me & Mrs. Jones”. His passion for music, outstanding production abilities, and drive for producing creative and innovative sounds has gained notable recognition through collaborations with artists such as: Dwayne Wiggins (of "Tony Toni Tone"), Keyshia Cole, Del, Too Short, Casual, Messy Marv, Corey Action, De' Apostle, Souls of Mischief, Compound 7, Hieroglyphics.
