I grew up in the mountains of NC, and studied music at Naropa University from 2005 to 2007 in Boulder, CO. My professors Mark Miller, Janet Feder and Bill Douglas had a profound impact on me as well as other teachers and students. I love Zappa, Yes, Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman, Midnight Oil, anything by Mike Patton or Les Claypool. As well as Mingus, MOnk, Miles.

I currently compose the music for a performance art group as well as write jingles for local and reginal businesses. In my spare time I teach at a Montesorri preschool and play/write new music.
