Attention Industry Reps, Radio DJ's and Tastemakers: Presenting the sensational Passion Kings, a rock group from
the San Francisco Bay area. Passion Kings is a solid rock act that uniquely blends indie, classic and avante garde
music seamlessly with a modern vibrant feel.
Passion Kings is fronted by lead vocalist and guitarist Robert Keller aka Automatic Quandry. Bass player Ralph
Nastari, drummer Riki Pahili and guitarist John LoGiudici complete the band.
Passion Kings performs live at clubs and venues in the San Francisco Bay area, as well as nationally. The band is
on the cutting edge of a new era of live online concerts. They perform frequently, streaming live via the internet, in
popular virtual worlds such as Second Life.
The band's debut album, titled "Just Press Play" includes songs "Sometimes", "Protected", "Walls Will Fall", "Block
Party", "Talk About You", "Angel", "Come To Me", "I Wanna Tell You", and "Don't Tell Me".
Robert Keller
Robert is the singer, song writer and band leader behind Passion Kings, as well as guitar/midi
guitar player. He is at home with variety of musical styles including jazz and classical as well as
punk, rock, and electronica.
He has his own 24/7 radio station at www.radiork.com:8000/listen where you can hear him and
his music along with his many musician friends in all the styles he loves. He is also an audio
engineer and has worked in many recording studios including Fantasy Studios, The Automat
and at Warner Bros. Studios in LA. He is a published photographer and songwriter.
Robert has traveled extensively over the years and sang or played with such notables as Greg
Khin and Todd Rundgren. His former band, Terminal Man, was signed to Beserkely Records
and has opened for the DeVinals, Greg Khin, Level 42, Book of Love, and Bow Wow Wow to
name only a few. Now, enjoying music more than ever he created Passion Kings which takes
him back to the roots rock he loves.
Ralph Nastari
Vito is an experienced bass player in all genera's. His favorites are funk and latin and has
played with many of the local funk and latin bands here in his native San Francisco. His touring
and rigorous musical life has kept him on the leading edge of modern music and he always
brings his pristine and shiningly brilliant style to the surface in every band. He's found a home
here in Passion Kings that truly allows his style and expertise to rise to the surface. He brings a
vintage warmth to band along with rock bottom clarity and timing.
John LoGiudici
John is an experienced jazz and rock player as well as teacher here in the Bay Area, San
Francisco where he's chosen to make his home. Being a guitar teacher keeps him up-to-date
with all genera's and the latest styles within them. John enjoys playing in Passion Kings
because he feels he has freedom of expression within the music. He approaches each song as
a musical adventure. He says he can be himself and find himself within the music.
Ricki Pahili
Ricki is the best gift the band could hope for. In addition to rock solid tempo's and perfect
timing, his experience is notable and diverse and fits well with the band. He's equally at home
with rock as he is with latin. He's also a talented percussionist. Not all drummers are great
percussionists and not all percussionists are good drummers. Ricki is at home in both worlds
easily. He's found a way to bring his talent and experience to our music in a way that keeps the
dance floor filled and the heart pumping in time with the music.
