The Quiet City Screams

Two dudes, one guitar. Well actually two guitars. Acoustic, at that! Started in the hallowed grounds of Marblehead, Massachusetts The Quiet City Screams was the culmination of many "jam sessions" and simple "bro-hangs". What started out as something casual started to gain ground when they wrote the first first of "Lost at Sea". And a snowball effect occurred.

They decided they had heard enough of what was on the radio and "popular" and decided to kick it old school, and go back to their roots. Armed to the teeth with tunes like old faithfuls New Found Glory, Blink-182 and newcomers like Four Year Strong, they decided to make some tunes.

The result is a blend of punk, pop and a little in between. In some instances there are more laid back guitars, letting vocals gain more presence in the mix, which you notice on "All I Need". And with songs like "When Words Mean Nothing" it is a non-stop ride from the moment you hit play.

Though they are only a duet at the moment, The Quiet City Screams will be surely be recruiting the cream of the crop when production has ceased on their debut release.
