Here at the root of existence, a struggle for power over an ancient celestial realm takes place, with consequences of epic proportions. The confrontation is sparked by the creation of a new being, Solace Prime, a judicious entity whose purpose is to maintain the balance between good and evil.
The second story unfolds under your nose. On present-day Earth, Conner, a brilliant and charismatic child is corrupted by the power of his own deviant will and a tragedy resulting in the death of his mother and father. As years pass without the guidance of his parents, his judgment becomes increasingly warped; his thoughts and actions more sinister. To cover up his heinous crimes, he goes so far as to commit murder.
I am the Captain of the Raven. I am the liaison and mediator between bodies in the celestial and physical realms of existence. I have been and will always be. It is my duty, my ethical obligation, to recount and convey these tales in their entirety as a lesson to all humankind. As Conner and Solace Prime's fates collide, their story will chronicle the battle between justice and malevolence. I have assembled and employed the crew of the Raven to act as my proxies on Earth in executing the narration of this epic. As the Captain, I strongly urge you to pay close attention to my logs to see where the Raven will land next. This is our charter. This is our mission.
