Born Dion jordan on July 14, 1988 in Vallejo, California. At a very young age, he and his mother relocated to Fairfield, Calfornia to escape poverty; however, it was much the same in his E. Tabor Ave. complex. Although he was in a rough neighborhood, Dion excelled in school as well as athletics. When he was in elementary school, he relocaed to the Del Paso Heights area where he would live most of his years as a youth. Dion was given the name Streetz by his peers at Grant High School, who said he had the total package of being "book smart and street smart." So it was only relevant that he became "Young Streetz." He currently resides in Natomas, and is attending school at California State University, Sacramento where he studies social work. Through his music he represents not only his own personal struggles, but also the stuggles and lifestyle of his peers. When interviewed by News 10, Streetz told reporters "If you don't feel what I have to say, then don't listen. But i'ma keep it solid regardless!" He has worked with artists such as Mistah Fab, J Stalin, Big Rich, Beeda Weeda, Husalah, Keak The Sneak, The Jacka, Acktup, Bruce Banna, and J Ro to name a few. He is an up and coming artist, and will accept nothing short of top honors!
