"Theri", a trend-setting, sophisticated, talented, outgoing, and fun fashionista; those are just a few words to describe this songbird. Artheria Harden, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, was born July 19, 1989, prematurely with vast chances of not surviving. From birth, she has proven to be nothing less than a fighter . As a toddler, she would collaborate with her mother and older brother to sing songs written by her mother, as well as battle her brother in sing-offs in adolescent years. Theri began to break out of her shell at the age of 12, and began to utilize the vocal talents of which she had been gifted. She participated in performances at school, including her elementary school's travelling performance choir. Attending Dekalb School of the Arts throughout her high school career. Theri often participated in the school’s show choir, as well as school and local talent shows held.
In 2007, she graduated from Dekalb School of the Arts to attended Armstrong Atlantic State University, where she continued to expand her singing career. Theri has a highly creative spirit; she even writes her own music. She has participated in many local talent shows and has met many known artist along the way. In pursuit of a dream, Theri auditioned for Season 9 of American Idol and made the cut to Hollywood, where she was loved for her unique voice, fashion, and style.
Alongside her passion for music, you will find Theri setting trends with her love for fashion, hair, and other forms of art and self expression. When asked who inspires her the most she will say, “God” and following Him, she applauds her mother for being an inspiration and her #1 supporter. Her favorite artists include Rihanna and Brandy; she currently tunes in to Lady Gaga, Monica, Fantasia, and Leona Lewis as well.
