About The Rolling Coyotes
The Rolling Coyotes have a penchant for unique, yet audience-pleasing material, featuring finely-tuned harmonies, textured arrangements, good humor and originality. You’ll hear touches of many musical genres. You might hear an 1850’s ballad and 1950’s rock n’ roll tune in the same set. They perform well-crafted originals and great songs by great writers such as Stephen Foster, Jimmie Rogers, Hank Williams, Woody Gutherie, Fats Waller, Ray Davies, Johnny Mercer and Hoagey Carmichael. The trio’s provocative songs will warm your heart, challenge your mind, make you tap your toes and laugh out loud.They have recently released a CD, Carry On, on NBT Records. Steve Warner is an award-winning writer with numerous credits including covers of his songs by other artists. His recordings have gotten airplay on many stations around the world. He has taught song-writing and music business workshops, and has judged many contest rounds of the Mountain Stage New Song Festival. He also runs a coffeehouse concert series. Nancy Lynn is an extraordinary singer with a rich, yet gentle voice. She is also a member of the Washington Revels, a group that performs seasonal celebrations combining music, dance and theatre. Andy Mosholder adds rich, mellow cello tones to the Coyotes’ more serious tunes. A talented musician, he does double-duty, playing fretless bass. He also lends an occasional vocal part. Elliot Simon, an excellent singer-songwriter in his own right A fluid musician, whether on keyboards, guitar or accordion.
