In late November 2008 Ryan Tainter, and Alex Cote got together, to try and form a ska band, and it failed, only writing 2 songs, and having 2 members. Meanwhile, a short 10 minutes away, Chrisco Campbell, and Kyle Goyette were having another impromptu jam session and ended up with 2 decent guitar and drum jam tracks. These forces collided a few days later, when Ryan and Alex, tried to bring Chrisco into the ska project, and he told them he would give it a try. They had one jam session, and the band was over. So Chrisco invited Ryan and Alex to come see what Kyle and himself had written. And so was born The Saints. They recorded one four track demo, in January 2009, and gave it away to friends, and other local people. After playing a few random shows, and writing five more songs, they went back into recording, thanks to Mr. Michael Lewis, a music teacher at the local high school. Now The Saints, are building loyal fans, playing shows, and writing new songs. Pulling influences from many places, Darkbuster, Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, and a slew of other bands, there looking to make a name in the world. Look out for there next release, coming soon, from there own C.B.V Records.
