About THESE ELECTRIC LIVES
Toronto, Canada
Toronto's These Electric Lives have been making melodic dance rock since the summer of 2004. After attracting attention early with their homemade Learn By Doing EP, they began working with Juno-nominated producer João Carvalho and released their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut EP in 2007. The underground hit “We Should Be Believing” has steadily charted on college and internet radio around the world ever since. Their energetic live sets have earned them praise and they have shared the stage with the likes of Mystery Jets (UK), Asobi Seksu (NYC), Bang Lime (members of METRIC), Jimmy Swift Band (Halifax), Small Sins, Woodhands, The Rural Alberta Advantage, The Skydiggers and Beast (Montreal). These Electric Lives released a remix album in 2008 and are currently recording new songs for their first full-length album.
