With the Silverton Devils Bill has grabbed his martin D-28 guitar and assembled a couple of great players to deliver still more original music covering an array of styles including honkytonk, Rockabilly, Americana, Bluegrass and more. For this show joining Bill on bass and vocals is his wife, musical partner, and SSS alumni Shelley Gray. Greg Schochet on mandolin and Guitar is a versatile and highly respected player in the Colorado scene, playing with just about anybody you can name and most recently with the Colorado country raves Halden Wofford and the Hi Beams and Jake Schepps Expedition Quartet. Ryan Drickey is a master of many styles on the fiddle and took first place in the Rockygrass fiddle contest in 06. SSS is on a break for 2008—if you are curious what’s been cooking in Bill and Shells acoustic kitchen—this is a set you wont want to miss. By the time Mountain Harvest 08 arrives a full length CD will have just been recorded with the Devils featuring a whole slew of new tunes that will be familiar and boundless at the same time.
