The Canadian based power pop trio is the latest phoenix to rise out of the Ottawa underground. An excitingly fresh sound for the ex-DCR featuring Nickolai Dangeroso on vocals and guitar, Terry O’Reilly’s bass and the ever funkalicious CHUNKK on skins. They draw on a diverse background of work ranging from The Pixies and Velvet Underground to the Tindersticks and The Sound. Taking hints of Elvis Costello, The Clash, The Who, The Vapours, The Kinks, The Bathers, Buffalo Tom, Television Personalities and Mission Impossible they create a truly original sound that is unique and exciting. It’s best to give the tracks a listen, from the swagger of Californian Albino to the sparseness of “Saskatchewan Hotel Room”, and the Andy Warhol inspired “Fallen Black Feather” – words don’t do them justice.

The multi-talented Mike Dubue (The HiLo Trons, The Empiricals, The Acorn and more) guest stars with his keys and vox. The recordings were finely crafted at Bova Studio with Phil Bova (The HiLo Trons, The Empiricals, etc.) as producer and engineer.
