The Stompcrash was born in the autumn of 2002, after an encounter by chance in a well known dark club in Milan.
At first Stompcrash was Dani (Vocals and Keyboards), Chris (Vocals and Guitars), Mauri (Bass guitar and Backing Vocals) and a “Dr-770” drum machine.
In this period we wrote our first songs like “Wake up in a Grave” and “Like a Noise”, experimenting with drum machines, with real drummers and did our first live experiences.
After many live show with some other drummers, Diego joined the band in September 2006 putting a powerful sound on our music and a stronger character in live dimension.
In January 2007 began our collaboration with Nomadism Records that released a 5 cd box set compilation that includes our three songs and in October 31st 2007 we released our first album “Requiem Rosa”.
In September 2008 Mauri left the band due to personal reason, now the current lineup is Chris (vocals, guitar and bass), Dani (vocals, keyboards), Diego (drums).
