The Superficials

We are the Superficials. We've been told we sound like any number of classic rock bands (the Beatles, The Dead, CSNY, etc.) but with a modern edge. I take that as a huge compliment, but I can also see why the comparisons are made. For one, we still listen to most of those bands on vinyl. But more importantly, we have three different songwriters in the band and we all do harmonies on each other's songs. That's not something you see a lot of today. But more importantly, we have three different songwriters in the band and we all do harmonies on each other's songs. That's not something you see a lot of today. Usually if there are three or more guys singing in harmony these days, they're also doing dance routines. You just may see The Superficials dance, but trust me it won't be choreographed.
