Having been discovered in 2008 by Nine Iron Management owner Anton Devenish, Tym began sifting through the material he had been working on, in order to establish the best route forward. Encouraged by a number of industry veterans to put together a band, the Tym Scopes Band was formed. Completed by Guitarist Roger Quilter & Bassist Dan Godfrey, the band were quickly approached by South London label Blue Sun Records and asked to do a series of test sessions at some of London’s top recording studios. The band recorded a batch of songs and played a series of exclusive private gigs, receiving exceptional praise. Their raw blues infused rock and intricate ballads had the crowds hanging on to every note. Currently nestled into the studio fine tuning their album, the band intend on releasing a handful of singles free online to give their overgrowing fan base an insight into what they’re doing.
