The U.R.E are a 4 piece, balls deep rock band with a small helping of melodic calmness when needed! Hailing from various parts of Essex, this Romford based band has together for about 3 years. Influences range from Pink Floyd to Radiohead, Led Zeppelin to Muse, The Beatles to nose bleed, gurn inducing drum & bass. Although the first few years was predominately cover gigs (Beer Festivals, Pubs, Clubs), The U.R.E. really found their true form writing and performing their own original mate...

The band consist of Steve Jones (Lead vocals/Bass), Chris (de pappa) Jones (Lead/Rythm guitar, keys & vocals), Tommy Vegas (Lead/Rythm guitar & vocals) and Chris (Stix) Purnell on the Drums.
