Only a short time has passed since Titor’s Insignia first got together in their practice space while they discussed direction, sound and ambition. But one thing was clear from the start: the sole interest of the group would be no-nonsense, honest rock songs. Not phased by the recent spate of “The” bands or the mediocre indie scene, they set out exactly as they intended. Taking their name from the military symbol of a supposed future predicting time traveller, Titor’s Insignia has taken on a life of its own. Playing their 1st gig at Liverpool’s famous Cavern, and their 2nd gig at Liverpool Carling Academy 2, Titor’s played their 3rd gig as the headline act at Manchester’s Dry Bar, and are looking forward to their headline slots at the Manchester Academy and Liverpool's 02 Academy to name a couple in 2009. To see Titor’s Insignia live is the best way to appreciate their music. Their stage presence is down to earth yet energetic at the same time, maintaining as much interaction with the crowd as possible. Stu and Peano do what they do best sharing guitar duties, duelling solos, and harmonizing vocals. Put this with the solid backbone of Swifty's drums combined with JD's bass riffs, any Titor's gig becomes an event not to be missed; even being hailed as "the most exciting live band in the North West" by fans of other bands the boys have played with. With crowd pleasers such as the vintage blues style of “I Don’t Love You”, the rowdy riffs and crunch of “Playing With Fire” and the mellow groove of “Lonely Girl”, the popularity of the band is only growing bigger. Titor’s Insignia have recorded a 4 track EP soon to be released on iTunes and are currently in the process of working out a contract with an independent record label, opening the boys up to a whole new horizon of possibilites. So jump on the bandwagon now, before you get left in the dust.
