Romulus began when three high school friends got together and jammed for the first time in 2011. They were Daniel Fuenmayor, Michael David Lopez, and Henry Sosa. Together they wrote music and played shows with friends at local venues in South Florida, gaining experience and growing in their musical knowledge. After the summer of 2012, each of the members went off to college to study in the field of science. They remained close friends and continued to write music together by exchanging ideas and arrangements online, and in 2013, the band decided they were ready to make an album and share their music with the world. During the course of this past summer, countless hours were spent practicing and finalizing arrangements for what would become their first record, The Third Leg. With the help of Alex Cohen on bass and the guidance of “The Freeman” (Fredric Freeman - Dungeon Recording's principal owner, staff engineer and studio manager), The Third Leg – EP was completed and released on August 15, 2013. Romulus strives to bring true Rock music back into the hearts of this generation. They believe that music is a creative process that comes from people interacting with one another through the communication of their instruments. Together, Romulus moves forward, seeking to make something new and exciting for the world to hear.
