Choose new image Ian Duguid Lawton Ian Duguid Lawton  1 follower1  3 tracks3 EditShare B i o g r a p h y Ian Lawton, Birmingham born singer/songwriter formed his first band at the age of 16 years, Along with Garry Whinnery they started songwriting and soon achieved local radio airplay ( BRMB Radio and BBC Radio WM, RADIO WYVERN ) His first comercial release was for the album "frog live" at the Birmingham Odeon 1986, recorded by Raymond Froggatt . Ian had co-written the song "Through Sorrow Through Pain" along with Froggatt and Gary Whinnery and by 1988 lawton had co-written the opening track "HOW THE EAGLES FLY" for the album "IS IT ROLLIN BOB" again for Froggatt, produced by BRIT award winner Bob Lamb. In 2003 Lawton took a break from performing live due to major lung surgery and his next release was not until 2008 In 2009 Lawton wrote " BREAK THESE CHAINS" An autobiographical writing following the end of a relationship, "BREAK THESE CHAINS " Has achieved substantial air play on both national and internet radio stations , along with radio interviews.
