After four years of success in the band known as White Noise, the founding brothers, Rob, Elliot, and Darryl Glotfelty, and new addition, David Valenta are causing waves of excitement with their new project, The Lake Effect. Throughout their musical careers, the brothers have been able to create music that their audiences can connect to, and they have always remained true to that connection off the stage as well, making sure the fans come first.
"With driving lyrics and a great energetic live set, The Lake Effect is a band with a promising future ahead of them. The guys are very down to earth and are willing to talk to any fan. With attitudes like that, I see The Lake Effect becoming a great thing in the near future." Kristen Hollywood, XTSR Music Director, Host of the Breakdown, Towson, MD
Drawing from Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix to Weezer and the Foo Fighters, The Lake Effect brings a fresh new sound that is enjoyable to a wide array of ages and musical tastes. From the jam band vibes of “Toe Jam” to the driving rock of “So it Goes” and the poppy fan favorite, “Stargazer,” The Lake Effect entertains their audiences night in and night out. The Lake Effect makes it a point to reward their dedicated fans by putting on a top-notch show every time out.
“The Lake Effect's intense rock show is one that is not only about the music, but also, about the fans. Their dominating stage presence proves that they are more than just your average college band.” Jordan Levin, Booking Manager, Santa Fe Café, College Park, MD
Currently the band has finished their first full length album entitled "Right, By Accident" which is being released April 9, 2010 at the Recher Theatre.
