Steve Gibson

My name is Steve Gibson, I live in a small village called Insinger in Saskatchewan. I moved here 4 years ago, with my Mam, Dad and brothers from the North East of England, Newcastle Upon Tyne. I write and produce all my own music, my main talent is my guitar, which I was influenced at a very young age by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits whom my father knew when he was younger. I now have developed my own unique style of guitar playing. I am now inspired by a lot of other guitarists, one of course is John Mayer thats the reason I have entered this competition.
