Formed in September 2003, in Macomb, Illinois, Transfer to Red has not only come together as a band, but they have come to form a personality through their music. Greg Bremer (Vocals) was introduced to Eric Ebbert (Bass), Kevin Breheny (Guitar) and Kyle Hammond (Drums), and instantly a strong bond was formed, and a solid, unique sound was created. Over time, the band has progressed and matured as songwriters, performers, and musicians, and they continue to make new steps musically, and on the stage. The cohesiveness found within this band is impenetrable and they will continue to break new barriers in the future ahead of them. Over the course of their time together, Transfer to Red has self-released two EPs, including Chapters Make Novels EP, released on October 7th, 2005 and Somewhere Between The Oceans Split in 2008. Their songs Even the Weather and One Bullet for the Bed have received continuous airplay on 95.9 WNLF and 88.3 WIUS, Macomb, Illinois, and that has helped their popularity to grow in their hometown and beyond. Transfer to Red has played shows all over Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Missouri, sharing the stage with bands such as the Audition, the Junior Varsity, the Deftones, the Fold, the Fall of Troy, the Sleeping, I Am the Avalanche, A Day to Remember, The Graduate and Lucky Boys Confusion. This band possesses an unbelievable stage presence that brings the audience closer to the music, and that shows the personality of this band. That is why with each show their fan base grows bigger and bigger. Transfer to Red aspires to bring their music to any group of people, small or large, in any place, because as a band they share the drive to get their music heard by as many people as possible; no matter what it takes - they are ready to let people know who Transfer to Red is.
