From an early age it was obvious Sweepa was a natural when it came to music. Growing up in H town his influences range from those Houston based artist such as UGK, Scarface, and Slim Thug to other southern artist like T.I., Young Jeezy, and Young Buck, as well as east coast artists like Jigga and 50 Cent. With a great passion for music Sweepa began rappin in 1995 and has stuck with it ever since then. Through out his past fifteen years in the rap game Sweepa has dropped 15 mix tapes including his 2005's, appropriately titled, From H-town to D.C. which is hosted by Pimp Juju and Magic Don Juan and features Rasi Caprice out of DC. "The mix tape is a variety of different styles, you got the D.C. flava with Sweepas' swagga, its HOT! Sweepa's appeal goes far beyond his catchy lyrics and his southern swagga, the magic is in his delivery. Emerging as another up and coming southern artist Sweepa separates himself from the rest of the music industry by being able to switch his style up on any beat, "ya never know what to expect!" No matter what beat he uses, one thing is certain, you can always expect Sweepas' music to be fire! He makes feel good music, that everyone can bob their head to. While his music is what defines him as an artist, as a person, Sweepa is a down to earth, funny, real ass nigga who takes his rappin to heart because as he says, "Its all I got! Its either win or lose to me, there ain't nothin in between. I gota make it happen!" Although Sweepa has not made his destined emergence into the rap game, he has worked and conversed with some of the best in the industry. His collaborations include working with such stars as: Mannie Fresh, Wacko, Bun B, Jagged Edge, Boo from Ca$h Money, and Mr. Lee. Sweepa also got radio play on G-unit Radio after winning a contest with the song "Doin My Thang," which is featured on his one of his mixtapes. Sweepa has now crafted his latest musical gift for his fans Back 2 The Streets: Street Series Volume 1 Hosted By DJ Rus!! The first project from Sweepa after his release from the Federal Correctionals facility. Sweepa has made a name for himself with those who have heard him spit but, for the near future he looks forward to building a larger more diverse fan base and collaborating with artists such as: Kanye West, T.I., and of course 50 Cent.
