Trent Davis, also known as Trent - G, was born in Chicago Illinois on July 1st, 1985. All his life he has been performing for people. When he was 6 years old, his mother Delores White, and father Jesse Davis, told him that he would always perform on the train to entertain people with singing, dancing, and rapping, and people enjoyed his performance. At this age, Trent learned a gospel rap that he had heard on a movie, and he performed it to his father, and when his father would take him out just to go various places, such as a friends house, or family gathering, Jesse Davis would have Trent perform that gospel rap, and people loved it. When Trent entered High School, his freshman year, he got kicked out for a fight with another male student, and sent to an alternative school called Park Forest Academy, but Trent was not behaving badly at this school, and he did all of his work, and kept to himself, and the teachers noticed his actions, and requested that he be sent to another alternative school called The Academy For Learning, at which he could work his way back into his regular High School by completing all of his work, and behaving properly to show that he is more than qualified to enter back into his regular High School, and graduate with his class, and that is what Trent did, being motivated by a friend from the alternative school who did the same. When Trent got back into his regular High School, which was Thornton Township, located in Harvey Illinois, he joined a rap group called Raw Product, and Raw Product entered many talent shows, and won all of them, but as the group started to rise, doing shows with famous secular artist like Twista, Do or Die, Da Brat, and more, Raw Product started to have arguments with each other, because they could not agree on certain things. So, after a while, the group split. Derrick, a member of the group went on to make his name known in the streets, and Trent went on to be a special guest on the Steve Harvey's Big Time TV Show where he won $10,000 as the world's fastest rapper, check preseneted by comedian D.L.Hughley, and show has over 6,000,000 hits on youtube.com, special guest on Good Morning America to show his fast rapping talent, special guest on WGCI radio station (The Sam Silk Show), which is the largest radio station in Chicago, covering national basis as well. He has also been wrote up in some of Chicago's most popular newspapers, such as the The Public Defender, the Austin Voice, The North Lawndale Community Newspaper, The Daily South Town, The Wendy City Word Newspaper, and more, but this was all while being a secular artist, but something happened in Trent's life that caused him to call on God like never before, and God changed Trent's heart, and Trent started to make music that glorified God. Trent was recently a guest TWICE, on the Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin Morning Radio Show, which is one of the biggest gospel shows on radio, with the host being Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin, who has won over 10 stellar awards, and 3 grammy awards. Trent says his whole purpose is to serve God, and others with his music to win souls for God's Kingdom. His whole motivation is people, and ministering God's word to show that Jesus loves them, and they too can have eternal life in heaven.
