Triproy is a prolific Canadian born singer and songwriter. He was raised in Santa Barbara where he began to hone in on his guitar skills. He played with several different bands. While Triproy was performing with local Santa Barbara band The Ajents, he was corresponding with Carole Childs of Geffen Records about material after he submitted the song "Uptown" which he composed for The Ajents at the time. In 1987 Triproy shelved his guitar and moved to Las Vegas to focus on many other aspects of life. While in Vegas, Triproy began to venture into writing and other forms of entertainment. He had his own radio show segment (KOMP), wrote jokes for 'The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno', was a stand-up comic, published a book, and also began to write the “Short Acid Trips” which has yet to be released, but coming soon. Triproy has since moved back to California and now resides in a small beach town near San Diego. In 2007 his diet went organic and it inspired him to return to his 'guitar roots' after taking a little more than 20 years off. His new songs he has been given to of late, come to him through the vibrations of the world (the organic planet) around him. Triproy has been centered on creating a catalog of vast new material since 2008. He has since scored a cameo in the Marty Thomas directed Eryka Jane video “Give You Everything” as the folk guitarist. "I'm not sure the term: 'write,' is what I do with these new songs, I sort of 'write down' things that come to my mind from places I'm at that time or moment. I seem to know when I know and that's it." ~Trip
