With a determined spirit and a focused work ethic, the young entrepreneur carries 10 years of experience singing, writing music, artist development, vocal coaching, and managing R&B/POP and Hip Hop artists, Hip Hop dancers and models. He founded Entyse Entertainment in 2004, an Urban Indie Label that includes Artist Management, Publishing, Artist Development, Event Planning and much more! As a singer with an unexpected powerful, soulful voice, some of Tyse’s career accomplishments include starring in a television reality show Gospel Challenge, ranking in the top 100 in New York City as a contestant on P.Diddy’s smash hit reality TV show Making the Band 4 and sharing the stage with finest in the industry including Faith Evans, Salt N Pepa, Jaheim, Shabba Ranks, Mc Lyte, Jon B. and 6X Grammy Award Winner Toni Braxton. Tyse’s writing credits include the song “Crazy” for Canadian Idol Season 1 contestant Mikey Bustos. “Crazy” was co-written by Delisha Thomas from the Darkchild team (Beyonce’s “Déjà vu” ft. Jay Z, Jennifer Lopez, Danity Kane) In 2009 Tyse formed a writing team "WordPlay" a dynamic group of song writers who specialize in crafting melody, harmonies and lyrics for the nouveau Urban Hip Hop Soul rocker. Music is the passion - and the result is a repertoire of versatile records that tell a story. With strong imagery and metaphor, using fantasy or depicting everyday life, there is something for us all – that will certainly move you. Each a writer on their own, they explode together at regular all night GrindCamp writing session where they work hard but play harder. Radio play, live performances and leaked singles to the internet have attracted the ears of producers from near and far. Wordplay joined forces in 2008 and has since worked with producers and artists in NY, LA, Atlanta, Toronto, and the UK. In recent news, Wordplay’s mid-tempo ode to the fear of a new love, “Tainted”, caught the attention of publisher, Sound of Pop Inc., partner of Canada's largest publishing companies Ole Music Publishing. Wordplay has now signed a Publishing deal with them so stay tuned for much more in 2010.
