I'm a new upcoming artist from Southampton. The name Unique was given at first but it was soon played with to make it more different to stay true to the name, hence how it has now ended up as U-n1que. The name came from what I do, my style and the way I do things, friends and family have called me unique so hence the name Unique come about. I'm a new upcoming artist from Southampton. The name Unique was given at first but it was soon played with to make it more different to stay true to the name, hence how it has now ended up as U-n1que. The name came from what I do, my style and the way I do things, friends and family have called me unique so hence the name Unique come about. Though I was born and raised in Southampton, I spend half my time in London, recording and performing on radio. Having a passion for music at a young age, I began singing in talent shows but gave it up when I was 14. At the end of 2008 I decided to take music more seriously and began writing lyrics and now it's 2009 I have begun recording my tunes with my first promo titled 'Time To Play' coming soon. I'm a hard working artist, who is going to be working with a lot of different genres and styles. More tunes will be coming soon so watch out for them, plus blog posts and more.
