Unusual Content was formed in 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just like the name implies, UC strives to expand the perspective of musical styles and restore the vitality of NuMetal style with their blend of metal and rap. With all original music, and influences ranging from Kottonmouth Kings to Korn, Unusual Content brings an edge and energy to every performance. As a band, Unusual Content is focused and motivated. Their debut CD was released on October 20th, 2007 to a sold-out crowd at The Compound in Albuquerque. Their CD is currently distributed via local vendors (Hastings Entertainment, Record Roundup, BiPolar), and will soon be sold nationally via F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment). Their web page on myspace.com has drawn over 28,000 views and plays, and boasts over 2,100 UC Outlaws (fans). Goals for the upcoming year include recording their sophomore album, and launching a southwest states tour.
