KBO is a 23 year old Nigerian American HIP-HOP Artist/ Entertainer/ Business Entrepreneur with the goal to motivate, influence and inspire the world with lyrical imagery as well as daily lifestyle. KBO is an alumni of The Florida State University where he pursued and achieved a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance. KBO released his second solo Mix-tape "Different City Same Struggle" in July 2011. KBO raps not only for the thrill, but for his family and an entire nation, Nigeria. Throughout his mixtape, “Different City Same Struggle,” you will hear constant references about his family and close friends. Thus the phrase, “I Got Us,” was born. This mixtape brought back good reviews and can be found on www.HotNewHipHop.com. KBO also has group projects where he’s collaborated with other talented artist. His most recent project, “The Red Eye Movement,” features KBO and two other solo artists, who are also good friends of KBO. The other two artist are CLA$$ and Dino who both have solo projects as well. The Red Eye Movement mixtape includes the smash singles, “Role Model and Bunny Ears,” which were performed at Club Lit on February 19th. The group opened up for Meek Mill on this day as well, they also opened up for Curren$y on the "Jet Life Tour". KBO just recently performed in Miami at the Coast2Coast Industry Mixer and placed 3rd out of 30 plus indy artist. KBO is an artist that can’t be defined with a genre. KBO is not just any regular rapper, he is a musician that is truly versatile and makes classic music. KBO also collaborates with a Garage/Blues Rock band known as The Shades. The Shades band features Dan Osgood who plays the drums and Truman Lusson who plays the guitar and sings as well. The Shades and KBO are currently working on an EP and is slated to drop in late May.
