Pittsburgh Artist “Marcielago” was born Marcy Margaret Perrin and passionate for purpose since birth. Marcy had a natural talent for Instruments, Dance, Rapping & Singing. She began playing a 5 piece drum set at only 5 years of age. By age 10, Marcy was playing the Piano, Violin, Alto Saxophone, & Bass Guitar. Marcy was Crowned Miss Black Teenage Millennium Queen in 2000, and in 2002 won 1st place in Pittsburgh’s Urban radio station WAMO talent show. Marcy was also included in the Juneteenth Celebration featuring the best talent in Pittsburgh where she played the drums. As a Senior in High School, Marcy was Concert Master featuring the violin for her High School Musical and also crowned Homecoming Queen 2002 for West Mifflin High School after delivering a speech that rhymed receiving a standing ovation ending in India Erie‘s “Video“:“ I’m not your average girl on the video, my looks aren’t determined by the price of my clothes, no matter where I’m going I will ALWAYS be the Infamous, Original, Unique, Marcy.”2 Children later, Marcielago kept true to her statement after becoming a Single Mother with a passion for Music & Entertainment in hopes to inspire her children & Single Mother’s to never give up on their dreams.In 2009 Marcielago released her first album titled “Smoke And Mirrors” with the help of Pittsburgh Producer Diezel. Marcielago is currently completing her 2nd Album Titled “The Art of Spiritual Warfare” with the help of Harley Dy$e, that is scheduled to release in Summer 2012.
