About Vantage Point

Staten Island, NY

Vantage Point has been established as an original project in spring 2007 and since that time has reached the vast audience both online and live all around the world with the most presence in the US and Europe. The band's studio staff was originally formed by Vitally Mirzabeyli - guitar, vocal and conssted of versatile talanted drummer Vyacheslav Moiseeff, inspired bass player Matt Lanier and experienced percussionist and singer Michael Ecklund. New bass/guitar player Svyatoslav Nezhdanoff hopped in by Feb, 19 2009 to enforce the band. It was an Old Rocker Monologue that has appeared in our play list by the first time since it was Odessa City Rock Club unofficial anthem for more than 20 years. The song was written by Garry Gankevitch, a famous leader of the BASTION band, unfortunately he has untimely gone in 1990. It's a tribute to his memory and all those "old" rockers who were in a main stream of rock movement in Odessa by the mid and fall of 80's. A lot of original tracks are ready for recording studio, "Ride 99", "Escape", "Rising Star", "Changes" you could have already listened. Although the band tends to play blues and classic rock it has a wide range of styles in the arsenal and hard - progressive is one of that. But there're no fences when it comes to self-expression so You may have been amused once listened to jazz licks, baroque organ or another classic staff in our player. The band has been playing in many of music venues of NYC, such as Underscore, Crash Mansion, Bitter End, Uncle Mike's, Fontana's. Recently we've been chosen to represent Staten Island in the Battle of the Boroughs at Jerome L. Greene Space of WNYC public radio. Share Your mind and points of view with us - it definitely helps to navigate through the waves of modern music ocean and now we're sailing away.  See Ya soon!
