Vante was born and raised in Greenville N.C. He was brought to this world October 18, 1992. Vante started his journey into the music industry at the age of 15. It was eairly 2008 when he participated in his high school talent show with another individial. It was his first recorded song and he was over excited to show his peers what he was capable of. That night Vante finished 1st place. It was obvious from crowd reaction that 1st place was well deserved that night. It was the best performance the school had ever seen. From that night on he was determined that he would become a star. He started getting bookings for shows, opening for artists such as Lil Boosie, Shawty Low, Lil Ru, Noel Gourdin and NC's own Petey Pablo. He began to go into to the studio and work magic. He was not very lyrical at first but his voice made up for those early times. It was clear that this teenager was a natural. Along with his sudden lyrical ability, he produced all the beats and music he recored on, giving him a big lead in the music industry. He has music selling world wide on itunes, amazon, rhapsody, and other distribution sites.He is also participating in local shows and also producing for other upcoming artist. Vante and his partner from before started a group called, "Da Exclusive Click". Vante's partner eventually realized that the group thing wasn't for him and he moved on. Vante kept the name and used the ancrynm...D.E.C. for the group. He recruited members and lead his group to where they are now. Through this process he has developed his own indie label called, "Gotta Shine Entertainment",where he is the owner, creator, and CEO. He is a young teenager with a lot ahead of him. He is currently pursuing a major record deal and eventually branching off to lead himself, D.E.C., and Gotta Shine Entertainment to levels unheard of!
