Haling from the Great Lakes Region Varquis is an Emcee who is from the True School,the very well-rounded artist/songwriter is bringing his style and brand of hiphop to the world. Every verse penned by the wordsmith Varquis is a forceful attempt at the Heimlich maneuver. This Ohio emcee has clearly decided to be an organ donor, dedicating his heart to the craft that helped nurture him. Var mentions in the chorus of one of his most personal tracks, “this music is therapeutic, I need it for me to live.” Armed with the charisma of an urban James Bond, Varquis is a double agent ready to save the Hip Hop world from the corporate villains pillaging the genre. By day this debonair Ohioan devotes much time to the cultivation of his entrepreneurial endeavors targeted at bettering his community. At night the freaks truly come out, a freak of nature. The mask of darkness unveils a savage layer of lyrical tyranny as Var dictate crowds from his thrown, the stage. Captivating crowds is nothing new to this former high school basketball standout whom was heavily recruited by several prestigious universities, but who could not fight through the pick set by the streets. Varquis attempted to juggle street life endeavors while perfecting the craft of being an emcee but has since left the streets behind to establish his own entertainment company (1Life Entertainment Group) and aggressively pursue his dreams. Nearing the completion of his first LP, The InkPen Perspective, Varquis and cohort Dris anxiously await being able to reach out and touch those who they represent. The couches of TRL are cool, but reaching out giving TLC through radio waves is more pertinent to this emcee. Hip Hop has saved his life, now he only wishes to return the favor. CLEAR! ( Plans for a New Book of poetry is in the making) Varquis is also releasing a new single for 2010 ''There He Go" as part of a new 1Life EP project produced by canadian based producer Tu Three.
