I love playing in Venice Sunlight.
It's hard to put into words what this band is about without coming across phony, and there's nothing that I can write in this bio that is going to change your mind about our music, but here goes.

This is all you need to know about us:
We've spent the past eight years or so playing in other bands, never quite getting the line-ups right. But right now, I can tell you that for the first time in my musical life, there is nothing about this band that I would change. Whether it's Dave playing his blues inspired lead guitar gifts, or Jay singing his ass off every time we plug in, or Steve laying down the low-end, or Scott being Scott, all I know is that I love playing music with these fine gentlemen.
Not only is our music inspired by our personal experience, but I think it represents where we've been within the scene and where we want to go. "The Recycler Sessions" is our first crack at showcasing ourselves musically and I feel that the songs are a solid representation of our diverse musical ideas, whether it's our pop or indie-rock sensibilities or just a tad of self-indulgence.
These words aren't going to sway your opinion on Venice Sunlight, nor should they. Listen to the music. It does us more justice than a bio ever could.
And if you don't dig what you hear, please recycle.
