Tacoma, Washington based band VIII Days Clean is on a mission and they know exactly how to get there. They put on electrifying shows that ignite the crowd and the energy in the venue is infectious. They have become a big draw in the Pacific Northwest and have played in front of a few thousand clean and sober fans from 2008-2009 including Snoqualmie Casino, Oxfest, Clean and Free by the Sea, Harcore and Free, Pacific NW Convention,Applini’s etc... The band is releasing their third full length...

They have become a big draw in the Pacific Northwest and have played in front of a few thousand clean and sober fans from 2008-2009 including Snoqualmie Casino, Oxfest, Clean and Free by the Sea, Harcore and Free, Pacific NW Convention,Applini’s etc... The band is releasing their third full length CD “Angels of Nothing” on November 6th. VIII Days Clean was born in the spring of 2005 by original members Jeff Welch and Ron Walvatne. in 2008 a few lineup changes were necessary. Tony McDougald laying down heavy bass riffs over the top of Jeff's thunderous kick drum, really give that huge epic sound. . The two guitar attack of Ron and Sean VanDommelen works very well in this band. Ron powerfully delivers the vocals with feeling and tackles subjects that are difficult to talk about. He uses an angry tone at times to get his message across. All of the band members are long time veterans of stage and studio and it shows in the finished product. We all are also veterans of the drug and alcohol abuse life style. We are all in Recovery and attend 12 step programs. We are not Saints, we are just 4 guys who happen to have the same dreams and goals. Staying clean and sober is the glue that binds us. ....
