Vital Hourz Consists of, Impulse, Backwordz, Danny Boy, And Hunned Bucks. Vital Hourz is a group that has seen some changes. Formerly known as Lyrical Plague in the mid-nineties. Initially, freestyle sessions between Backwordz, DY$, and Virus formed into what is today. Soon after, Backwordz's younger brother, !mpulse (or Pulse to those that REALLY know him), caught addiction. Those early years had a good fifty to sixty songs that were raw, rugged, and ridicolesly bad. Funny shit for real. Yet the potential was there and Vital knew it. Life happened and members changed. Transitioning to better albums, the group included Backwordz, !mpulse, and Versatile, while DY$ continues to get the 6th man of the year award. This line up performed at several shows including Saturday in the Park 2003, with Backwordz and Pulse rockin' Saturday in the Park 2004. This probably would have never happened without the help of local rap kings R.S.K., Whom collaborated with Vital and provided opportunities to hit stages. There was even an attempt to create an Indie Label, Spot Blown. At this time, Vital Hourz were collabing on songs with Bigz, Kisor Flowsay, Shoot-a-Mil, Risk, Josh Sativa, Pyzon, DY$, Mystro, and even Diztort. Without exagerating, there were and are hundreds of songs on Pulse's hard drive. Vital's strength would have to be versatility. With so many tracks, there is a range of material that doesnt fit in a category. Being raised in the midwest was the cause. There were performances with R.S.K, Heiruspecs, Odd Jobs, Oath, Aflikshen, NoizeWave, Shoota, Risk, Pyzon, DY$, Flux Ambassador, and Sativa. Life happened and members changed. Two artists that were very talented yet unheard on the local rap scene were clicking with Vital. Pulse's best dawg from school, Hunned-Bux, began to take his flow serious and the two started to record some crazy music. Backwordz was introduced to D-Boy from a good friend whom is now D-Boys wife. D-Boy showed Backwordz his insane ability to freestyle and ferioucious desire to get involved. So that's current. Vital Hourz is Backwordz, !mpulse, D-Boy and Hunned Bux. After a slow period of Vital Hourz even being seen, say roughly 2005 to 2007(partially thanks to some felony convictions), the group is again getting their hands dirty in the midwest rap scene. D-Boy could get the hustla award for recording at top of the line studios Cathouse and Front Yard Studios, doing an uncountable number of shows in the Sioux Falls area, and working with rising talents Trey Lane and NightShield Entertainment. The local game should be fiending for some new songs from Hunned Bux as well as some new beats from Pulse's HourGlassProductions label. 2008 has seen Vital at Sioux Falls Armory Building opening for David Banner and Nutty's North performing with a line up including Trey Lane, Nightshield, V the Nobleone, Maniac, Committed and more. Also in '08, Vital has repped for their hometown at Red's Pub, Chesterfield, and are performing at Nippers this October. Ending the year with a bang in Tea, SD. Vital will be at a Charity Benefit concert Nov15 that will feature everybody thats anybody in the tri-state rap scene. The nearly done Vital Hourz Album "When the Beats Talk" will be released in Feb '09. Around the same time, a free promo collection "OverEngineered" will be released. Solo releases "The Judgement"(DannyBoy), In other Words(!mpulse), MoodSwings(Backwordz), and a Hunned-Bux album will soon follow. Brothers, Backwords and !mpulse will also be working on a fresh project "People Beneath the Stairs". Vital is also hoping to help the music worlds introduction with singers Mar-Ki and Kevin Pike.
