Willyj Storytellers

Willy J and The Storytellers are a four piece out of Albuquerque, NM. They are an all original band with twenty or so original songs, but play many covers from time to time for fun and when playing three hour sets. Willy J singer/songwriter is a graphic designer who moved to New Mexico and met up with UNM students Alex and Calum. Willy J and The Storytellers are a four piece out of Albuquerque, NM. They are an all original band with twenty or so original songs, but play many covers from time to time for fun and when playing three hour sets. Willy J singer/songwriter is a graphic designer who moved to New Mexico and met up with UNM students Alex and Calum. Robson, an EMT student at the time, came from playing with numerous other bands to play bass and quickly they assembled a solid repertoire to begin performing locally. They have been playing venues around Albuquerque for two years and have become a tight, alternative, rock band. They went on their first national tour this last summer of 2010 and are currently focused on recording their second album. They have a vibrant and uplifting stage presence. They hope to keep writing more songs and tour next summer.
