Growing up in Losmina one of Santo Domingo roughest neighborhoods and areas wasn’t that best place to raise a kid. When he turned 3 the first instrument that he touched was a mic by the age of 8 wandel was already writing his own songs, And that’s when something really bad happen in his life one of his favorite aunts named damaris died in a car crash coming from the airport. It really struck the young 8 year old at times he thought that his life was coming to an end because one of his best supporters was gone. by the age of 9 wandel and his Mother Ana Marquez Jimenez came to America in search of a better life and more opportunities but behind we left one of my moms preasious posetion her daughter Arlett she was only 5 years old at the time. When he first step out of the airport he thought it was a dream seeing bright lights cars everywhere and people communicating with each other. His first day at school was like many other new kid everybody would stare at you some people laughed because of the clothes that he was wearing but that still didn’t knock the young 9 year old down. By age 13 wandel started singing in English and discovered that he had another talent which was rapping. His mother struggled alot by having 2 jobs and still couldn’t support well the family like she wanted to. By age 14 wandel talent wasn’t fully ready to become who he wanted to be at life. And that’s where he met a guy named Carlos tolentino. Carlos was the c.e.o of a company named Gone crazy ENT, Carlos was really amazed by the talent that wandel had and how focused he was when it came down to music. Wandel and Carlos kept in contact with each other for a few weeks. 1 month later Carlos introduced wandel to Gary done best known as V.I.P from the group j Adore he is part owner of the label. Gary was really amazed by the young 14 year old talent and actually told wandel that he reminds him of when he was 14 .From that day on wandel became one of the youngest artists of the group. Now 15 years old wandel has accomplished alot of things that he was determined to have, a better environment and the talent to make great music to entertain people
