Bio : R.W.Batts nickname Rock-it Man Robert Warren Batts born in West Frankfort Illinois started his career in music at eight years old .The scout troop he was in needed a specialty so the scout master noticed several of the boys were trying to learn to play musical instruments and a band was born.Three songs at a Scout O-Rama and Warren was hooked on guitar. Moving through the fifties was the fun years along with the music of the era which would bring more interest and determination to be a good guitarist. The sixties brought a chance meeting with a young George Harrison in Benton Illinois before the Beatles invasion. The encounter would later lead to an introduction to Bill Haley and his Comets and lead to Warren becoming a Comet. Touring as a sideman with several well known personalities Warren has gained experience on some of the worlds biggest stages and learned quit a few trade secrets.You will hear through his voice and his guitar a true prospective of the early rock and country greats. He now tours with computer backing or with a small band upon request.Both shows are a great value in entertainment.
