Wesley Rodriguez was born on August 29th 1985. His influence in regards to music was gained from his surroundings from his father and grandfather playing the guitar, to his everyday life which was filled with music. One may also assume that his gift in music is inherited from his family. However, Wesley is now a pioneer in making good music his career. From the age of eleven (11) Wesley’s decision in regards to music became clearer and he pursued this for several years. At the age of twelve (12) Wesley moved to the United States and pursued his musical career further attending music classes which introduced him to his musical partner and life long friend Sergio at the age of nineteen (19). Sergio Luna was born on March 27th 1986. Into a family that accepted music as part of their everyday life. With his father being a Mariachi singer, and several other family members being involved in music Sergio was influenced greatly. His pursuit for being a superior vocalist began at the age of twelve (12) while practicing with his father. At the age of twelve (12) Sergio and his family moved to the states. When Sergio began taking musical lessons at the age (18) he improved his voice and strengthened his goals towards music. While attending musical classes he was introduced to Wesley a similar person with the same goals as his own in regards to making music a part of his career. When Wesley and Sergio first met it was as if it was destiny in the making. Each one fueled the other which in turn ignited a flame that is rare to be found in other groups today. Once this team was made, recording and performances started to take place. These performances started small scale at first such as house parties, night clubs, private events, festivals, and concert opening acts. Wesley and Sergio’s talent caught the attention of several promoters and performers which in turn gave them the opportunity to perform with such artists as Tito Banbino, Nina Sky, and Notch. There talent was displayed even more when they signed up and performed during the Jose Quervo competition called the “Quervoton”. They competed with some of California’s best and proved their talent when they took first place for the California division in 2007. After several appearances and performances Wesley and Sergio caught the attention of Lockdown Records, a record company based out of Los Angeles, California. The record label held an audition looking for fresh young talent in the Latino community. After hearing the performance of Wesley and Sergio the Record Labels decision was clear and all other auditions were called off. Wesley and Sergio where officially signed to Lockdown Records in early 2007, after this point shows became bigger and the team grew larger. From shows to Bellagio in Las Vegas to Radio and Television interviews Wesley and Sergio are currently working and aiming to finalize their album “Renovando La Historia” and seem to have a very bright long future ahead of them, with new material in Reggaeton that has never been experienced as of yet.
