The band began in August of 2008 with Paul English and Drew Parker. They have known each other their entire lives and always enjoyed playing music together. The two were in a band a few years back but it ended in 2005 when Paul entered the Army. He returned home to Laurel in the summer of 2008 and he and Drew knew they had to start something back up again. The band began in August of 2008 with Paul English and Drew Parker. They have known each other their entire lives and always enjoyed playing music together. The two were in a band a few years back but it ended in 2005 when Paul entered the Army. He returned home to Laurel in the summer of 2008 and he and Drew knew they had to start something back up again. So with Paul on guitar and Drew on bass... they needed someone on drums and a singer of course. Drew happened to be in another band at the time and asked its drummer if he would like to try out. This drummer was none other than Joseph Kinkead (a.k.a. Fluff). They meshed well together and decided that Fluff was the man for the job. After the addition of Fluff, they started writing several songs and fell in love with their little project. They all then began desperately searching for the perfect singer. They tried out several for a few months but only one fit the bill. This vocalist was Dexter Phillips. He joined the band and immediately started placing lyrics to the songs they had worked so hard on. They were happy with just one guitarist in the band but knew of a guy that would make it just that much better. This guitarist was none other than Lee Westmoreland, and he happened to be in a band with Drew and Paul back before the Army days and they knew he would be perfect for the new band. Therefore, after a little persuasion, Lee decided that he could not resist his longing. With the final perfect line-up of the band, Who is Tyler Durden has been writing, practicing, and recording songs. Recording is done live, because Who is Tyler Durden believes that live shows should always exceed expectations and not let down fans. This band is motivated and driven to achieve the goal of playing orginal music to live crowds wherever they may gather.
