Originally from Pittsburgh, he came from a musical family (father and mother met in music school dad on guitar and mom on banjo). He started playing drums at age 4 and guitar at age 5. He has played in everything from drum and bugle corps to symphony orchestras, marching band to jazz ensembles. After getting his music degree, he established himself as an R&B/funk percussionist and vocalist in bands and as a studio musician. Now in San Diego, he has combined this talent with his rhythmic style of guitar playing and formed up-tempo grooves for his solo CD "Livin' A Dog's Life". His strong lead vocals blended with 3 part harmonies, horns, and positive lyrics make for a fresh new sound.
