COUNTDOWN TO FREEDOM After serving out the last 9-plus years of his life inside of the Federal Bureau of Prisons for drug possession, the rapper/author known as Willie Dutch is now ready to reintroduce himself to the world. Currently residing in a federal halfway house Willie Dutch is on a 6 month Countdown to Freedom. Willie Dutch has experienced many trials and tribu-lations in his life beginning at the age of two when his mother was brutally murdered by his biological father. This horrible ordeal led to his being raised by the North Houston streets where he was born. His walk on the wrong side of the law led to a 5 year state and 140 month federal prison sentence for the Manufacture of Crack Cocaine. However, Willie Dutch proved that not even the feds can knock the hustle out of a hustla. During his stint in federal prison he recorded mixtape songs by phone, published two urban novels, and had his writings featured in several magazines including King, Mink, and Street Elements to name but a few. Now, in the less than 30 days since his release to the halfway house, Willie Dutch has completed his first official mixtape entitled Free Willie Dutch: The Mixtape and is set to release his third novel titled “White Collar Hustla” in the coming months.
