You either worked, sold drugs, played sports or rapped. Nothing appealed to young THUNN more than music and once he found out he could be a part of that world he never looked back. Born in BUSHWICK, raised In BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN and the FLORIDA EVAGLADZ the oldest of five kids THUNNY grew up poor in a single parent household watching his mother struggle to make ends meet. Outside his window gambling and gunshots, cops and robbers, pimps and pushers, tricks and johns, hookers and hoes, "You either live through it or lay it down" he was quoted as saying once and when asked which he chose he simply replied "I lay down for nothing". In the early 90s THUN began to develop himself as a rap artist along with the help of RUK and ROCK of HELTAH SKELTAH and TEK and STEELE of SMIFF n WESSUN two of the premiere groups from the BOOTCAMP CLIK before moving to FLORIDA to finish his training in the DIRTY SOUF with one of its premiere underground groups the WARHEDZ. It all came naturally and it wasnt long before he was recognized as one of the best emcees in ORLANDO a.k.a. the EVAGLADZ and one of the sickest out of BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN a.k.a. BUCKTOWN. In the course of the next few years he went on to perform with or open up for LIL WAYNE, BIGGIE SMALLS, CRAIG MACK, THE FUGEES, DOUG E FRESH, KRS-1, METHOD MAN, RAEKWON, U-GOD, GHOSTFACE, RZA, REDMAN, MOBB DEEP, LUDACRIS, HELTAH SKELTAH, SMIFF n WESSUN, JA RULE, TRACEY MORGAN and FLEX with television appearances on The Tony Rock Project, BETs 106th and Parks Freestyle Friday, Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, The Uptown Comedy Club and VH1. THUNNY BROWN has also been on THE BLACK OUT tour with REDMAN and METHOD MAN, GHOSTFACE, CAPPADONNA and the OUTSIDAZ. He was also featured on the OGC LP THE M-PIRE STRIKES BACK. The word great is synonymous with the name THUNNY BROWN and this is evident when you take into account that he also produces, engineers, acts, does graphic design and video editing. And now with the addition of his own crew THE A-SKWADAZ powered by SHARPSHOOTAZ ENT. And being one half of the newly formed rap super group THE ROCKBOY G's which is backed by ROCKBOY STREET RECORDS home of the super producer D..R PERIOD and frontman FLY TY hes unstoppable.
