Ya Jaketted was DeAndre Suarez on born May 26th 1988 in Harbor City California. A short time after his birth, his family decided to move to the Antelope Valley for a better life. While Deandre grew up in the Antelope Valley he learned a lot about who he thought he was and who he was destine to become. Deandre moved to Quartz Hill his freshman year and began t o hang out with a group of young men (T.R.A.P BOYZ) involved in music. At this point in his life he just love being on stage just hyping the crowds. As the high school years progressed, Deandre developed his own sound of music and knew that he could be more than just a hype man. His mom bought him his first music program where he started to learn how to make beats and put music together. By this time high school was about to end and Deandre was about to make the biggest change ever in his life. On September 26th 2008 Deandre moved to Oklahoma to live with his older brother (D.E.S.Starr). D.E.S. helped his younger brother to turn his life around and give it back to the one who created him (GOD). That September night Deandre rededicated his life back to Christ. Deandre knew the change and then started calling himself Ya Jaketted (Appointed to show Anointment). While months passed Ya Jaketted’s brother D.E.S taught him how to perfect his skills in rap but most of all live a Christian life style. D.E.S. saw the talent his little brother had and let him join his musical group B.O.S (Brothers of the Sword). Being in B.O.S. taught Ya Jaketted how to trust in God plus it helped him find who he really was. While in B.O.S., Ya Jaketted met his spiritual brother Sean “Yung Christ” Frank who showed him how to be unashamed of the Gospel he ministered. With D.E.S. Starr, Yung Christ, and his wife (Jessica Zamora-Suarez) he developed a powerful voice for Christ. In November Ya Jaketted recorded his first Christian Mix tape Swag with a Purpose- “S.W.A.P.” This showed for the very first time Ya Jaketted’s breaking of the old and in with his new nature. June 20th 2008, Ya Jaketted moved back to California to be closer to his wife Jessica. Ya Jaketted at this time was still learning how to walk with his new Christian life. Not even a month later Ya Jaketted released his second Mix tape Speaking to Death Ears-“S.T.D.E”, which hit the street with a bang. Now Ya Jaketted is ready to get the name of Christ out to all cities and hoods. With the support of his wife, B.O.S., family, friends and his label Royal Works Inc., he is making his dreams into reality. His new Mix tape Dying Breed drops January 13th 2009, which is an appointed mixture of talented music. Ya Jaketted music is a raw form called MUSICK (Music that Upholds the Sick).
