Mirage’s life story is some what incredible in the fact that he came out of no where, taking a chance on a music dream, that sometimes seems like a MIRAGE. Born in the early 80’s, his mother and father were both very young. At the time alot of hardships played a part in his up bringing. But the love formusic started early, listening to MYSTIKAL,LUDACRIS,50CENT,KANYE WEST and others. At the age of 9, he wrote his first rap for a neighborhood talent show and won. Still the road was darker than he ever dreamed it could be. Adversity from his childhood caused many hardships. His parents split up when he was a teenager resulting in him moving around Ohio alot. By that time it was trips to Atlanta to be with moms, and back to Ohio with dad. By the age of 13 his major focus was sports. He went to various camps such as Nike and Bluestar; here a focused basketball star was in the making. In the summers he played at the Run and Shoot in Atlanta,and other places where he was unbelievable. But certain problems led him back to Ohio to live with other family. In the middle of it all, he continued to play around with rapping. He never gave it alot of thought that he really could rap , and never really wrote, but it was just like this was supposed to be him. Basketball didn’t really work out as he had planned early on, but the music was pumping out of him like crazy. But like most 18 year olds who had no money and a shattered dream,a hustler was born with a attitude to never lose in life period. Don’t get it twisted, he was from a family of hustla's and go getten money thugs on one side that had everything and more, not just your nice car but that’s as far as he goes with that. Running the streets brings trouble, and when Mirage got his share, he knew this wasn't it so it was time to go back to rappin. He was out there freestylin for nothing, when there were plenty of people making away for themselves by making songs. Not having a mentor, he did an entire mix tape by freestylin. On this mix tape you would find songs, not just your freestyle with no hook. This was a mix tape with stories and hooks. With no major outlet Mirage was driven back to the streets where his incredibly intelligent mind was put back to the place he was trying to leave.Still determined he treated music like his full time job. His uncle who has a lot of experience showed him how it was all done, from marketing yourself, to going out and hitting clubs to being a business man. From always freestylin and not taking it seriously, in 1 year he has come a long way from the life were guns, jail, and drugs claim the lives of many. Now he is set to prove himself by risk taking, growth, and showing the diversity he has in music. By not always focusing on all the hardships of life but how to have fun with it at times and how life really is what you make it hitting you with metaphors,and a swagger to his flow that only he has that blows your mind away, along with stories and even a club like vibe that is so explosive as he explains it doin explosive music is what he does best at times. Dropping his first real mix tape and shooting a video to “Your Girl”, which was done early in his career, doesn’t compare to the flow he that he has to offer the world now. Through all the battles of showing the world through myspace, shows, and the streets he could possibly be headed for great things. Its about to get even sweeter as he gives you more unlimited greatness. Mirage is the artist and the person wit drive and talent to not let any haters stand in his way.Moving all around Ohio and various cities such as Atlanta, Little Rock, and Nashville shaped his mind to different cultures, but he’s still reppin the O.
