20 year old Milwaukee, Wisconsin rapper Young Renz is really starting to lay his mark on the Midwest music scene. After dropping his debut mixtape “Cinematic” and following up with an EP entitled “Red October,” Young Renz is ready to expand his horizons to the whole world.
Lorenzo Moody was born April 22, 1991 to Lantona Thornton and Langston Moody in Chicago, Illinois. After a year and a half, most of Renz’s family moved to Milwaukee to escape the hardships and rough neighborhoods of Chicago.
Renz started his rap career at a very early age but didn’t seem to start reach his potential until banding with four other Milwaukee rappers. They obtained the name Circle Music Group and from then on the sky was the limit. He quickly found his group of favorite producers and started working on building his brand.
After teaming up with CMG, he wanted to refocus his rhymes and change the way he presented himself as an artist. He began speaking more on his life and his experiences instead of what others have seen and others have gone through; so things like college, relationships, and every emotion possible spilled into the music. With this new approach on music, Renz is ready to take on the world.
Renz is currently working on revamping his websites, photos, and his music catalog. His next single is set to be released summer 2011 accompanied by other videos and numerous features.
