Derrell was raised in most rough naighborhoods there-for he had no choice but to become what his surroundings made him. Since the age of five, Derrell was part of allot of treturous activity: breaking windows, killing animals, ext. At the age of seven Derrell, Mikol (his mother), and D'jon(his brother) mooved out of this place called 'The Jungles", the reason of leaving this place was because of the kind of enviroment it was, his mother kindve had an idea on how this place would have impact her sons mentality, but, really i didnt do any good. In 1997 Derrell and his familty move to this new home on 97th street, right between "hoover" and "vermont", there, Derrell made a couple of new friends that really wasnt with the sweetest behavior. Derrell hade a friend name Tyrone thats was often call "man man" which was one of the badest children that was in that neighborhood, he became on of Derrells closests friends.In 1998 Derrell had gotten his first schools suspension at "95th street elementary", Derrell actually slapped this guy all over an computer spot. In the year of 2000 Derrell Graduated from from elementary and started attending Nobel Jr High in northridge. The first month at Nobel, Derrell got suspended "5 times" For violence. Soon, it was a must that Derrell leaves Nobel, so thats what he did. In the early new millenium, Derrell was checked into 'Curtiss Middle School', there he stayed the rest of his jr high school years. Derrell was suspended a total of 40 times over violence. At that time Derrell never recieved less that 4 fails on his progress or report card. In the year 2004 Derrell "Did Not" recieve his jr high school diploma. In the summer of 2004 Derrel attended a summer session at "samuel gompers middle school", he passed all of his classes, so, he started High school later that year at "locke senior high" in LA. Once again he had problems, but, for the 2 years he stayed at locke high, he was susplended never. Derrell made his goals not to improve in class, but to become a better individual, wich he did. Derrell grades started to slowly become exceptable. In 2006 Derrell was expelled from locke over a dispute with a teacher, they faught. Derrell was checked in the "susan miller dorsey high" were he faught non. At the time he attended dorsey he kindve had his act together, but the grades wasent to good. Derrell checked out of dorsey to see if he was closer to home would his grades in prove, so he checked into "washington High" were he recieved his first report card with "No Fails". At the moment Derrell is still attending Washington, Lets just see how well he does...........To Be continuedGetting into RappingYoung Smasha started rapping in 1997 when him and his fellow friend Deonta Douglass did an anthem with the drill team squad at 95th Street elementary.Young Smasha soon started to write lyrics by lyrics as the year pass but he didnt have the money to get studio time..So he did what he called "being smart" and downloaded the software Acoustica Mixcraft. Derrell Loved his music more than his money and didnt notice the big oppertunity he was giving himself, so, he made his first song "PJ this PJ that", soon he made song after song including "Y.s aint dumn". after a while he made his first cd "something to start of with" featuring the first beat he made with own lyrics "The introduction"....a few days after that he posted his music on "soundclick", "beta Records and "myspace". After a month He made "Something to start of with(mixtape)" featuring "Split Personality".. He really dosent care for the record deal and money..but for his music. On the long run, Young Smasha clicked up with two other artist Davion"Lil Smasha" Lovett and Travion"Baby Smasha"Lovett. Young Smasha met the other two artist in 2003 down the street from his figueroa apartment. B.S and L.S weren't the rapping kind until Young Smasha influenced them. The three artist first called them selves "World Hardest Cartoon Kings of LA" but on the long run one of the artist (Lil Smasha) wasn't really feeling the name so some issues started but they didn't let that interfere with there hip hop relationship. Soon, they called themselves "Kings Of LA", that trend went on for about a year. during that time the three artist made just three songs and they were not published. In 2006 One of The artist (Lil Smasha) were incarcerated, so , for a while there were no songs made. When Davion was released the made the first published single "First Fresh", Then the big question came, what will they official call them selves, L.s came up with about 4 names, B.s came up with about 3, Y.s came up with the name "Project Smasha" that everyone agreed on. a few weeks after that Y.S and L.S made one of the easiest hits " A KIllIN. Then next song Project Smasha will be making will be called "Project Smasha".
