Sidney L. Smalls Jr. on March 14, 1989, is an American Hip-Hop Artist raised in the Bronx who has been performing songs since the age of 3. At the age of 6, he began writing his own material and producing his own beats. It wasn’t until the age of 11 that he began recording songs. His first session was engineered by Kenny Parker, of Boogie Down Productions. Shortly after that, he started working out of his own home studio. Which he impressively taught himself most of what he knew at said time. SL held an open door policy to his studio. Where many have come to record, and some even grow in front of his eyes. Because of this SL has been known as a usual collaborator with many crews and even be known as a member of multiple crews at any given time. The strongest of bonds came from his first group “No Remorse” which grew into the “Fab Five” and the “Fab Five Family” camps. Currently SL, happily remains an active member of "Music U Love Ent" all while heading his own personal imprint “A Dreamer's Music Group”. “Right now I’m just looking for people with the same drive as me. Who want to really do something in this industry and wouldn’t mind having a strong well versed team by their side” says Sid about his imprint. SL released his first self- engineered project “Technical Foul” on September 22, 2006. His second project “Product of a Cold Heart” releases on Valentine’s Day of 09.” He released his third project “Of Love, And War” on April 26th, 2010. Along with his solo projects, he and Eris Dublin are working their duo project “Eris Takeover.” He produces for several artists, including himself, Duece Iconz, Eris Dublin, and many more. Aside from rapping and producing, he’s recently found himself penning songs for singers of all genres. SL states that “Music should be a work of art that touches the emotions of the listeners. With this knowledge I aim to make timeless music that can be listened and related to for generations to come.”
