"Yung Lye or YL" is a duo group, which consists of two artists:Stevie Jay(Steven Joseph) and Tazz(Marvins Bordes) that came across each other at Olympia High school Orlando FL in 2004 and coincidently realized they went to the same church. It all started with beef over something silly but they put the past behind them because it seems they had the same interests and passion..which is music. The title "Yung Lyfe" means so much in many ways. It means new move, something unexpected and worth ded...

Some artists create music to where their age group build interest, however, Yung Lyfe is significant because they try to target every age group and every market with commercial music. As an R&B and Pop duo, they attract the attention of a diverse population.
